One of the three single Pinot Noir Vineyard designations (owned and operated by Cooper Mountain Vineyards), the Pinot Noir Mountain Terroir Johnson School is issued from Johnson School Vineyard planted in 1998. The fermentation is traditional and the most natural as it can be.
Johnson School Vineyard is located 7 miles west of Cooper Mountain Vineyards on the Chehalem Mountains  AVA offering a warmer site due the albedo impact on the berries because of the specific soil composition (loess soil). Biodynamic wine.
