During the 7th harvest at Cooper Mountain, Bob and Corrine woke up one morning to find Barbara missing. It turns out she had not gone far, she was out in the vineyards walking down the rows munching on the harvest. Thus began her love affair with Pinot Noir. As the years passed the passion has evolved and it has been noted that her wine education needs to be expanded past Oregon Pinot Noirs. Like that stubborn child she was way back when, she scoffs at that notion.
For over a decade now she has supported winery: sales, marketing, PR, administrative work, production. Or wherever she is needed. Her energy, personal good taste and desire to help the family winery succeed is infectious as she travels throughout the country.
Barbara is a past president of the North Willamette Vintners Association and a past Director on the Board of the Washington County Visitors Association. Currently she sits on the board for the Demeter Biodynamic Trade Association, Chehalem Mountains Winegrowers Association, Willamette Valley Wineries Association and Oregon Pinot Camp.
