2012 Pinot Noir Mountain Terroir Meadowlark, 92 pts Vinous

One of the three single Pinot Noir Vineyard designations (owned and operated by Cooper Mountain Vineyards), the Pinot Noir Mountain Terroir Meadowlark is issued from two blocks named CCW and DDW planted in 1982. The fermentation is traditional and the most natural as it can be.
Meadowlark Vineyard is located on the east side of Cooper Mountain and tends to be influence by the east wind from the Columbia River. The 40 acres tends to have a more delicate profile than our other vineyards.
