Oregon Pinot Noir

Pinot Noir is such a finicky grape that you might think everyone in Oregon is a masochist. Or maybe we attract people who believe in the pursuit of excellence, perfection and those who enjoy finding a way to exist with a grape that has a mind of its own.

The truth is that we are simply in love. In love with a particular grape that demands respect, attention and care. In love with the possibilities of producing the Holy Grail of all wines. To our good fortune we live in one of the two regions in the world that Pinot Noir grows as it is intended. Oregon's Willamette Valley shares the 45th Parallel with Burgundy France making our growing season much the same. We also share a very similar climate that allows for warm days, cool evenings and a long hang time for our grapes to ripen to perfection. All the perfect elements come together in Oregon for producing world class Pinot Noir.

Our Pinot Noirs are distinctly Cooper Mountain. Reflective of terroir, our wines are bottled in varying quantities from Reserve to our Five Elements set of distinct blends or single vineyard options. Each wine with the character of our vineyards, the touch of our winemaker and the passion of our proprietor.
